2. Content Standards

2.1 Original and Authentic Content

PixallPop is a platform for original creative work. All content you upload must be:

• Created by you: You must be the original creator or have explicit rights to use and share the content
• Properly attributed: If your work incorporates elements from others (with permission), provide appropriate credit
• Authentic: Do not misrepresent AI-generated content as traditional photography or hand-made artwork without disclosure
• Unmanipulated for deception: While creative editing is encouraged, do not create misleading content designed to deceive

2.2 Content We Welcome

We celebrate diverse forms of visual creativity, including but not limited to:

• Photography: All genres including landscape, portrait, street, wildlife, macro, abstract, documentary, and fine art
• Digital Art: Original digital illustrations, compositions, and manipulations
• Mixed Media: Creative works combining photography with digital elements
• AI-Assisted Art: AI-generated or AI-enhanced images with transparent disclosure
• Vector Graphics: Original vector illustrations and designs

2.3 Content Quality Standards

While we welcome creators of all skill levels, we encourage:

• High-resolution images (recommended minimum 2000px on longest edge for general posts)
• Properly exposed and focused images
• Thoughtful composition and creative intent
• Clear, descriptive captions that enhance understanding
• Appropriate categorization and tagging

3. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on PixallPop. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

3.1 Intellectual Property Violations

• Copyright infringement: Uploading content you did not create or do not have rights to use
• Trademark violations: Unauthorized use of protected logos, brand imagery, or trade dress
• Counterfeit goods: Images promoting or selling counterfeit products
• Plagiarism: Claiming others' work as your own

3.2 Adult and Sexual Content

• Nudity: Full or partial nudity, including genitalia, buttocks, and nipples (with limited artistic exceptions)
• Sexual activity: Content depicting sexual acts, implied sexual activity, or sexual arousal
• Sexual solicitation: Content offering or requesting sexual services
• Sexualized minors: Any sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance, immediate ban, and report to authorities)

3.3 Violence and Harmful Content

• Graphic violence: Images depicting gore, severe injuries, or death
• Animal cruelty: Content depicting abuse, harm, or cruelty to animals
• Threats: Content threatening violence against individuals or groups
• Self-harm: Content promoting, glorifying, or providing instructions for self-harm or suicide
• Dangerous activities: Content encouraging dangerous or illegal activities

3.4 Hate Speech and Discrimination

• Hate speech: Content attacking individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, disability, or serious disease
• Dehumanization: Content comparing individuals or groups to animals, objects, or subhumans
• Slurs and symbols: Use of slurs, hate symbols, or imagery associated with hate groups
• Holocaust denial: Content denying or distorting the Holocaust or other documented genocides

3.5 Harassment and Bullying

• Targeted harassment: Repeated, unwanted contact or content directed at specific individuals
• Bullying: Content intended to intimidate, shame, or degrade individuals
• Doxxing: Sharing private information (address, phone number, workplace) without consent
• Non-consensual imagery: Sharing intimate images without subject's consent
• Coordinated attacks: Organizing or participating in harassment campaigns

3.6 Misinformation and Deception

• Harmful misinformation: False claims that could cause real-world harm (health, safety, elections)
• Manipulated media: Doctored images presented as authentic with intent to deceive
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another person, brand, or organization
• Scams: Content designed to defraud users

3.7 Spam and Platform Manipulation

• Spam: Repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content
• Vote manipulation: Artificially inflating votes through fake accounts or coordinated efforts
• Engagement farming: Inauthentic engagement tactics ("follow for follow," engagement pods)
• Bots and automation: Automated systems for posting or engagement without authorization
• Multiple accounts: Operating multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

3.8 Illegal Content

• Child exploitation: Any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors (zero tolerance)
• Terrorist content: Content promoting terrorist organizations or activities
• Drug trafficking: Content facilitating the sale of illegal drugs
• Weapons trafficking: Content facilitating illegal weapons sales
• Human trafficking: Content facilitating human trafficking or exploitation

4. Poster Sales Requirements

Content eligible for poster sales through our monetization program must meet additional standards to ensure quality and legal compliance.

• Family-friendly: Content must be appropriate for display in homes and public spaces
• Print quality: Images must be sharp, properly exposed, and free of artifacts

4.3 Community Approval Process

Images become eligible for poster sales through our "Poppin" voting system:

1. Upload your high-resolution image to the platform
2. Community members vote on images they love
3. Images reaching the "Poppin" threshold are flagged for potential sales
4. You approve which images you want to sell (opt-in required)
5. Our team conducts a quality and compliance review
6. Approved images are published to our poster shop

5. AI-Generated Content Policy

We embrace AI as a creative tool while maintaining transparency and authenticity within our community.

5.1 Disclosure Requirements

• Mandatory disclosure: AI-generated or AI-substantially-modified content must be clearly labeled
• Use appropriate tags: Tag AI content with #AIGenerated, #AIArt, or similar identifiers
• Be transparent: Don't misrepresent AI-generated images as traditional photography

5.2 AI Content Standards

• AI content is subject to all other content guidelines
• AI-generated deepfakes of real individuals are prohibited
• AI content for poster sales requires additional review
• You must have rights to use any AI tools employed in creation

6. Moderation Process

6.1 How We Moderate

PixallPop uses a multi-layered approach to content moderation:

• AI-powered screening: Automated systems (powered by Anthropic's Claude) analyze uploads for policy violations
• Human review: Our trained moderators review flagged content and complex cases
• Community reporting: Users can report content that violates our guidelines
• Proactive detection: We actively monitor for emerging threats and policy violations

6.2 Content Actions

When content violates our guidelines, we may take the following actions:

Reports are confidential. We do not reveal reporter identity to content creators.

We understand that moderation decisions are not always perfect. If you believe your content was removed in error:

9. Account Behavior Standards

9.2 Interaction Standards

• Engage respectfully in comments and messages
• Do not spam other users with unsolicited promotions
• Respect user boundaries and block lists
• Do not coordinate harassment against other users

9.3 Business Conduct

For creators participating in monetization:

• Represent your work honestly
• Honor commitments to customers
• Do not engage in fraudulent practices
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries

10. Updates to Guidelines

These Content Guidelines may be updated periodically to address emerging issues, platform changes, or legal requirements.

• Material changes: Announced via email and in-app notification at least 14 days in advance
• Minor clarifications: Updated on this page with the revision date
• Emergency changes: May take effect immediately for urgent safety concerns
